With Sister Irene’s permission and blessing, Craig Calhoun set out to remaster the 'FIRE' recording.

He discovered a technical error in the original master that resulted in an inferior thin sounding vinyl pressing, much different to how it should have been.

​

Craig’s mastering techniques corrected the technical error, rendering a fuller and richer sound.

​

Nearly 50 years on, 'FIRE’ can be heard for the first time as intended when Sister Irene first recorded it.
